Water Conservation & Recycling

Water rates have escalated sharply in recent years promoting many companies to implement water conservation methods. Such methods include the elimination of leaks and drips, eliminating wasteful measures and practices, process modifications and installation of recycling. Implementing many of these water conservation measures will result in up to 50 percent water savings, representing a significant cost savings. Programs such as this should be adopted as soon as possible since almost all municipal water systems are experiencing sharply increasing costs.

  • Install data-logging instruments to track actual water flows
    on real time basis
  • Measure flows of drips and leaks
  • Develop water balance
  • Evaluate opportunities for recycling
  • Design/Install water recycling system
  • Continue to monitor system for continuous improvement opportunities

Water Treatment

Htec provides custom water treatment programs for a broad range of industrial purposes, including boilers, parts rinsing, Clean-In-Place, sanitation, food washing, plant water, machining and drinking. Standard unit processes, such as membrane filtration (RO, NF &, UF), mixed-media filters, activated carbon and ozone, are integrated into a treatment process. Instrumentation and controls are added to monitor quality and process variables.
