Wastewater

Htec provides industrial wastewater treatment systems for a wide range of wastewaters containing inorganic and organic materials. Each treatment is a unique design requiring a detailed understanding of the processes that are generating the wastewater.

Htec designs and constructs wastewater treatment systems that incorporate three principles:

Simplicity

Overly complicated wastewater treatment systems are difficult to operate, generally are not very flexible in operation and expensive to maintain. For example, gravity is more reliable than pumps to move wastewater through the plant.

Cost-Effective

Since wastewater treatment plants do not contribute to the bottom line, it is necessary to be vigilant in designing systems that are cost-effective with regard to both capital expenditures and operating expenses. However, costs must not be compromised with regard to sustainability of the systems.

Effluent Compliance

The systems of the wastewater treatment industry are generally required by regulations to reduce pollutant loads to either a natural water course (river, stream, lake) or to a municipal sewer system and produce an effluent quality in compliance with the permit. Violations can be very expensive and associated adverse publicity is damaging to the company’s public reputation. Htec takes these potential violations very seriously and strives to design high reliability into the treatment systems.
