Instrumentation
Proper instrumentation is critical for the monitoring and control of any industrial process control system. Instruments must measure the values of critical parameters in a reliable manner and often in a corrosive, hazardous atmosphere.
The first step in selecting instrumentation is to perform a detailed analysis of the system or process to be monitored. Which parameters, such as temperature, flow, line speed, pH, level, pressure, either differential or static, density, viscosity, voltage, current and chemical composition, must be monitored to ensure product quality and product flow. Htec recommends that P&ID drawings are prepared to show the entire process. Instruments are then selected that are applicable to the process and the critical parameters are being monitored in the proper range.
Htec has the experience and expertise to select proper instrumentation to measure the process parameters required to monitor and control critical systems. In addition to our industrial process engineering capabilities, we have personnel with chemistry backgrounds and extensive laboratory and sampling experience.
