Harzardous Gas Monitoring

Htec designs and manufactures industrial grade Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems, which include fixed monitors, gas chromatographs and mass spectrophotometers. A monitoring system would be needed for a situation in which plant personnel are working in or periodically entering a room with a process or a storage container that contains one or more of the following toxic gases:

  • Carbon Dioxide/Carbon Monoxide
  • Nitrogen Oxides
  • Hydrogen Sulfide
  • Sulfur Oxide
  • Ammonia
  • Hydrogen Cyanides
  • Chlorine/Hydrogen Chloride
  • Hydrocarbons
  • Ozone; and Specific Volatile Organic Compounds

The remote monitoring module can be programmed through PLC/HMI to initiate ventilation, opening of louvers, shut-down processes, visual and audible alarms, evacuation orders, E-Mails/wireless phone messages, and messages to networks.
